Almost twenty years of Americana, roots rock, and unforgettable harmonies from Spokane, Washington.
Original music. Honest songwriting. Unforgettable live performances.
For nearly two decades, Buffalo Jones has been a fixture of the Inland Northwest music scene, delivering guitar-driven Americana, alt-country, and rock with soaring three-part harmonies, memorable songwriting, and an energetic live show. Based in Spokane, Washington, the band has built its reputation the old-fashioned way—through relentless performing, honest songwriting, and a loyal following that continues to grow with every release.
Drawing inspiration from artists like The Old 97s, Wilco, Cracker, Son Volt, and Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, the band blends the heart of Americana with the edge of indie rock while forging a sound that is unmistakably their own. Their songs balance driving electric guitars with rich vocal harmonies, pairing stories of hope, heartbreak, resilience, and the open road with melodies that stay with listeners long after the show ends.
Their latest release, Celebrate, marks another chapter in an ongoing journey. Showcasing the band's continued evolution while remaining true to their Americana roots, the album reflects nearly twenty years of songwriting, musicianship, and the enduring chemistry that has kept the group moving forward.
Over the years, Buffalo Jones has shared stages with nationally touring artists, traveled throughout the western United States, appeared on regional television and radio, and remained committed to supporting the Spokane music community through benefit concerts and local collaborations. Whether playing an intimate club, a packed festival stage, or a community fundraiser, the focus has always been the same: write songs that matter and deliver performances that audiences remember.
Nearly twenty years after their first shows, the band continues to prove that longevity isn't about standing still—it comes from continuing to write, evolve, and connect with audiences one performance at a time.
